Jeffrey Bray, Prologis’ head of global risk management, also serves as risk manager in residence (RMR) at Florida State University’s College of Business, a program sponsored with a grant by the Spencer Educational Foundation. Through grants, scholarships and Jeffrey’s role, the foundation works to promote the risk management and insurance industries to college students.

Jeffrey’s visit during the last week of January included speaking with students and faculty about risk management strategies for a global logistics real estate company. He spoke in five separate courses, ranging from core-level classes with nearly 500 students to senior-level capstone classes with about 50 students. Colleagues Tobin Olson and Emily Chou joined Jeffrey by video for a real estate valuations class to share their experiences with 60 to 80 sophomores and juniors interested in real estate.

Together, Jeffrey, Emily and Tobin demonstrated three of Prologis' core values: mentorship, passion and teamwork. Afterward, Jeffrey said, “The school was very welcoming. The energy level and engagement from the students made the experience incredibly rewarding.”
