Miami is the gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean. Its nearly 3 million people live within an area only 15 miles wide, which runs 38 miles north and south over Miami, Dade and Broward counties. South Florida is one of the most diverse markets in the United States and this, combined with a strong logistics infrastructure, makes the area an appealing location for our customers.
Over the last decade, Miami’s transportation and logistics infrastructure has evolved to accommodate a population growth of 13% and serve many diverse industries: e-commerce, aviation, food and beverage distribution, international freight forwarding and consumer electronics.
South Florida has a strong, well-funded and expanding infrastructure to support future growth. The Port of Miami handles 10 million tons of cargo shipments annually. Miami International Airport is the fourth-busiest U.S. airport for cargo and freight.
We deliver logistics solutions and services at scale, so you can focus on growing your business. As your partner, Prologis can help manage your facilities as well as handle everything from leasing/operations and sustainable design to development and real estate acquisitions.
