Every year in May, we step away from our desks and roll up our sleeves for IMPACT Day, our global day of service. This year marks a decade of our IMPACT Day program. After two years of virtual giving back activities, we are incredibly excited that many of our 2,100 team members will gather in person to participate on Friday, May 13.

Named for our company values of Integrity, Mentorship, Passion, Accountability, Courage and Teamwork, IMPACT Day brings together employees to do our part for the communities where we live and work. Once again, we are teaming up with Habitat for Humanity and sponsoring 18 projects where Prologis employees in the US, Canada, Hungary, and Brazil will work to help build and improve homes in partnership with families in need of affordable housing.

Our employees will also be preparing and delivering meals in Chicago, performing environmental clean-up in Osaka, planting a vegetable garden in Amsterdam … among many other local good deeds.

Since the program’s launch in 2012, employees have volunteered more than 62,400 hours through IMPACT Day. It is one of several ways Prologis invests our time, expertise and resources to make a positive impact. We have been contributing to Ukrainian refugee assistance efforts, for example, including providing warehousing space to local nonprofits under our Space for Good program.
