T. Robert (Bob) Burke is a co-founder of three real estate organizations: AMB Property Corporation (predecessor to Prologis (NYSE: PLD); IHP Capital Partners, a leading homebuilding finance company; and Metropolitan Real Estate Equity Management, sold to the Carlyle Group. Prior to co-founding AMB, he was a senior real estate partner with the law firm of Morrison & Foerster and, for two years, served as that firm’s Managing Partner of Operations. He is also the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pension Real Estate Association and a former member of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. He received his B.A. from Stanford University and his J.D. from Stanford Law School.
Bob is a former Trustee of Stanford University and has served on the investment committees of the Stanford Management Company, the Hewlett Foundation, UCSF Foundation and the UN Foundation. His volunteer commitments have included the Board of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and the Presidio Trust.
