Sustainability is built into how we plan and develop our projects. Prologis ranks No. 2 in the U.S. for corporate onsite solar capacity, with clean energy installations across dozens of Southern California properties. Every eligible new development and redevelopment project is built to meet LEED or equivalent sustainability standards. We are targeting net-zero emissions across our value chain by 2040 and testing scalable climate solutions across the region, which helps our customers progress toward their sustainability goals.

Scaling Local Benefits

In Southern California, Prologis invests in job training, EV charging and solar infrastructure to deliver lasting benefits to local communities. We’re partnering with Clean Power Alliance and Ava Community Energy to develop rooftop solar that brings affordable clean energy to nearby homes and businesses. From charging hubs near ports to youth internships and road safety programs, our focus is on uplifting the communities we serve.

Sustainable real estate strengthens communities—and Prologis is advancing solutions that benefit both people and the environment. In California, we’ve helped enable over 10 million electric freight miles and are on track to add 89 megawatts of solar and battery storage by 2026. With LED lighting, cool roofs, and clean energy systems, our developments support a more efficient, resilient future—delivered in partnership with local communities.

Delivered a microgrid-powered EV hub that cuts up to 70 tons of tailpipe emissions daily—built in just five months.
