What Our Network Supports

Throughput: The value of the goods transiting through Prologis warehouses per year.
Direct employment: Total number of workers in Prologis warehouses themselves.
GDP: The economic value generated by operations taking place in Prologis warehouses, including the direct activity within the facilities, the indirect activity supported through supply chains and the induced economic activity created by employee spending.
Indirect employment: Jobs supported through supply chain purchases by operations in Prologis properties and their suppliers.
Taxes: Taxes at the federal, state and local levels generated by Prologis economic activity, including income tax paid by workers and other labor taxes, corporate profits tax and other taxes such as property and sales taxes.

Creating access to jobs is just the beginning. Through collaborations with local organizations and schools, Prologis’ Community Workforce Initiative has trained more than 40,000 people worldwide, with nearly 10,000 placed in transportation, distribution and logistics careers since 2018.

Investments in energy, building design and infrastructure help reduce impact while supporting more efficient operations, including more than 1 gigawatt of onsite solar and energy storage capacity, along with programs like PARKLife and adherence to LEED, WELL Building standards and others.

Each year, 20,000+ volunteer hours are dedicated through IMPACT Day, supporting community programs and local partners. In 2025, Prologis and the Prologis Foundation donated approximately $5.5 million to support community impact initiatives.
