Prologis’ Community Workforce Initiative is a workforce development program that trains people for careers in logistics, transportation and supply chain. Through training, certifications, and job placement, it helps participants build lasting careers. Many participants are individuals from underrepresented communities, displaced workers and individuals seeking new or enhanced skills.

Prologis is focused on being a long-term, trusted partner in the communities where we operate. We created CWI to help expand economic opportunity and address the critical workforce skill gaps by preparing local talent for high-demand careers, linking businesses with job-ready workers and advancing long-term economic mobility.

CWI provides online and hands-on training in technical skills, safety practices and career readiness preparation. Participants can also earn various certifications such as OSHA 10, forklift operation and CDL. Most programs can be completed in 4–12 weeks, depending on the local program design, track and individual pace.

Yes, participants can earn industry-recognized certifications and micro-credentials that enhance employability and demonstrate job readiness to employers.

CWI’s online Prologis Learning Academy platform and in-person training is open to individuals interested in pursuing a career in logistics and related fields, regardless of prior experience. Eligibility requirements for our in-person training and support services may vary by location and partner organization.

CWI certification prepares participants for entry- to mid-level roles in the logistics and the supply chain industries, such as warehouse associate, forklift operator, CDL driver, dispatcher and supply chain coordinator, among others. CWI also offers upskilling opportunities that prepare participants for a broader range of mid-level careers. The program also continues to explore opportunities to expand training for related fields, such as solar energy, based on community need and industry demand.

Employers can engage with CWI by hiring program graduates, participating in hiring events, advancing community impact goals, and informing development of certification training and program design.

CWI is delivered in partnership with local workforce organizations, including workforce boards, educational institutions and nonprofits. These partners provide technical training, supportive services and job placement support to help participants transition into logistics careers. 

CWI’s Prologis Learning Academy Platform is available globally and currently offered in English and Spanish. The CWI in-person program component is available across multiple regions where Prologis has a presence, with programs tailored to local workforce needs and employer demand. As of early 2026, locations included: US (CA, FL, NV, TX, GA, NJ), Mexico, Spain, UK.

Prologis continues to expand the initiative into new markets, increasing access to training and career opportunities globally.
