Committed to Sustainability

We have a long record of sustainable development. Our business has always been grounded in understanding and working with the local community. Our community relationships are based on mutual value creation, trust and respect.

Today, Prologis has the highest-quality logistics real estate available—and we keep pushing forward. When we decide to take on a challenge, we set ambitious goals. That’s why we’ve committed to achieving net-zero emissions in our operations by 2030 and across our value chain by 2040. This meaningful work supports our customers in their transition to clean energy and sustainable operations.

Our employees worldwide donated more than 16,400 hours to community organizations in 2023.

Prologis is at the forefront of solar and green energy, surpassing 500 MW of installed solar and storage capacity across our portfolio. We rank No. 2 in the U.S. for onsite solar capacity and storage.

We’ve installed LED lighting across 74% of our buildings and use cool roofs to reduce summertime energy use.

Of our eligible new developments, 100% will achieve sustainable certification.
