Prologis is a leader in sustainable development. Our modern industrial buildings are built with sustainability top of mind. That’s why you’ll find our buildings have solar panels, electric truck and car charging stations, LEED certifications, efficient LED lighting, and cool roofing, We’re dedicated to building a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future, and we’re excited to continue working with our community partners to create innovative solutions that benefit us all and make Tracy an even better place to live, work, and thrive.

Space for Good

With commitment to being good neighbors and supporting the communities we operate in, we developed our Space for Good program to provide temporary rent-free space in our distribution facilities to help charitable organizations address seasonal and short-term needs. In Tracy, we provide space to Brighter Christmas, a charity that receives rejected e-commerce product and donates it to families in need.

Partnering with the Community

IMPACT Day is Prologis’ annual day of service where employees from all over the globe come together to contribute to and serve our communities.

McHenry House

The Tracy Prologis team dedicated their 2023 IMPACT Day to the McHenry House, a local family shelter that houses and provides resources for families in crisis from Tracy and surrounding areas. During IMPACT Day, the Tracy Prologis team revamped the landscaping by installing new artificial turf, rock, and plants, deep-cleaned the interior of the shelter, built a new sandbox for the children, refinished and repainted picnic benches and fixed various items throughout the shelter. Our work helped meet some of the shelter’s deferred maintenance needs, allowing the staff to focus on the families they serve.

Recently, the Prologis Tracy team volunteered at the Lammersville Elementary School where we renovated the teacher break room, re-landscaped the front of the school, removed several dead trees, refaced the school letterboard, fixed the playground and swing set and repainted the classroom doors among many other things.

Tracy Interfaith

The Tracy Prologis Team regularly volunteers at Tracy Interfaith, a local church that also runs a food bank. They box up a variety of groceries, both fresh and canned, and hand them out to community members in need. Within the boxes are meat, fresh veggies and fruits, milk, canned and boxed goods, hygiene products and even dog food for our four-legged friends.
