Joseph Ghazal is chief investment officer for Prologis and serves on the company’s executive committee. In this role, he leads the company’s global investment strategy, which includes management of the Investment Committee, execution of deployment activities and pipeline, and multi-market portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.
Previously, Ghazal was global head of capital deployment, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company's capital deployment and reporter into the company’s president. Prior to that, he was chief investment officer for Europe, where he was responsible for all capital deployment, including development, land and property acquisitions and dispositions, and fund contributions. He has more than 20 years of experience in logistics real estate development.
Prior to that role, Ghazal served as regional head of Northern Europe, responsible for Prologis' operations in Scandinavia, Benelux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has also held Prologis senior management positions in Benelux, the Middle East and Southern Europe.
He holds an M.B.A. from ESA, Paris ESCP, a master's degree in civil engineering from ESTP, Paris, and a civil engineering degree.
