Earnest Sweat is the venture investment manager at Prologis Ventures. His 10-year career consists of a blend of real estate and technology-focused roles. He began his career at BMO Capital Markets as an equity research analyst covering REITs. Prior to joining Prologis in 2017, Sweat served as the investor-in-residence at Backstage Capital, where he focused on the technical and business model due diligence of investment opportunities. Sweat is also a former startup founder and tech blogger who is passionate about serving as a startup advisor for high-potential startup entrepreneurs. He has also worked diligently with accelerators, such as Camelback Ventures and GSVLabs, assisting tech startups with fundraising and product-market fit.
Sweat received his Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from Columbia University. He also earned his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
