Poznań’s economy is dominated by the service sector, along with trade, financial services and education. Poznań’s industries include automotive, pharmaceutical and food processing. The regional Poznań-Ławica Airport serves 2.3 million passengers a year and handles more than 100,700 tons of cargo. And the largest container terminal in Poland operates in nearby Gądki, allowing access to North Sea ports.
