Prologis Corporate Responsibility Report 2014

Prologis is pleased to announce the release of our eighth annual Corporate Responsibility Report. The report documents Prologis’ 2014 activities in three dimensions of sustainability: environmental stewardship, social responsibility and governance and ethics. The report also provides updates on the company’s progress against longer-term sustainability goals.

Key environmental highlights across the company’s operating portfolio, as of the close of 2014, include:

  • 68 percent of lighting is energy efficient
  • 28 percent of rooftops are cool roofs
  • Total solar generating capacity is 113 megawatts
  • 27 certified development projects added 9 MSF of sustainable building certifications to bring Prologis’ total to 53 MSF across 14 countries

Selected examples of the company’s socially responsible activities include:

  • More than $1.2 million in grants, donations and matching gifts to charitable organizations
  • More than 7,000 volunteer hours to 63+ nonprofit organizations working in the areas of education, human welfare and the environment
  • 130 months of rent-free space to 19 nonprofits
  • Launched Breakthrough, a company-wide initiative that promotes the retention and advancement of women at Prologis

The company is the proud recipient of a wide range of awards for sustainable and ethical behaviors. Key accolades include:

  • NAREIT’s 2014 Leader in the Light Award in the Industrial Sector for the third consecutive year
  • Green Street Advisors’ REIT industry corporate governance leader for the 12th year in a row
  • Corporate Knights’ 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World for the sixth consecutive year
  • Dow Jones Sustainability Index, component for North America
