SAN FRANCISCO, Feb, 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Prologis, Inc. (NYSE: PLD), the leading global owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, today announced it has signed two development lease agreements totaling 406,000 square feet (37,700 square meters) at Prologis Park Tres Rios in Mexico City.

This includes:

  • 250,000 square feet (23,200 square meters) with DHL Metropolitan Logistics, a subsidiary of DHL, a leading postal and logistics provider; and
  • 156,000 square feet (14,500 square meters) with VF Outdoor México S.A., a subsidiary of VF, the world's largest apparel company.

Both customers will be leasing space at Tres Rios 9, the latest development at Prologis Park Tres Rios, one of Mexico City's largest master-planned industrial parks. The entire park totals approximately 2.3 million square feet (213,700 square meters) and has expansion capabilities to 2.7 million square feet (250,800 square meters). Located in Mexico City's premier distribution submarket, Prologis Park Tres Rios offers direct access to the NAFTA highway and downtown Mexico City. 

Prologis is the leading provider of industrial real estate in Mexico, with approximately 31 million square feet (2.9 million square meters) of logistics and distribution space as of December 31, 2013.
