Prologis was a finalist in the Best Proxy Statement category at the tenth annual Corporate Secretary Corporate Governance Awards on November 10, 2017. Chief legal officer Ed Nekritz, SVP/associate general counsel Deborah Briones and Investor Relations’ SVP Tracy Ward attended the event alongside 400 industry professionals in the fields of governance, risk and compliance.
Prologis’ proxy statement was reviewed along with other big brands like Pepsi and Goldman Sachs. Prologis was the only real estate company nominated as a finalist across 15 different award categories. Although Allstate took home the first place prize for Best Proxy Statement (Large Cap), Prologis' second consecutive nomination was a great honor and testament to our focus on strong corporate governance. "This distinction recognizes the true dedication and professionalism of our entire proxy team," said Deborah. "It is a great pleasure to work with such a wonderful group of people." Ed and Deborah spearheaded the effort working with the legal, accounting, HR, investor relations, marketing and communications teams.
