Prologis is closely monitoring the evolving developments of coronavirus disease 2019, COVID-19. Since the pandemic started, Prologis has worked with health officials in China to donate medical masks and protective clothing, in hopes of limiting the spread of the virus and easing the burden on local aid workers and medical personnel. The safety and well-being of our employees and their families is our number one priority.

We are following regulations from government authorities regarding the containment of the coronavirus, as well as guidelines set by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other public health organizations. We have activated our Business Continuity Plan and have formed a COVID-19 task force, which meets regularly to assess risk.

We are asking all employees to forgo attendance at industry events until at least April 30. Employees are working from home in regions where there is additional risk to themselves or family members. The majority of our customers remain open for business, and our local customer experience teams around the world are communicating regularly with them.

For information regarding COVID-19’s potential impact on the logistics real estate sector, Prologis’ Research team has published a report, which is available here.

This is a fluid situation and we are closely monitoring ongoing developments.
