Seven New Facilities Certified
In January of this year, Prologis received LEED® certification for three buildings in Prologis CCP Cajamar I, located north of São Paulo. The three buildings combined comprise 931,646 square feet (86,600 square meters) of LEED-certified space and represent Prologis’ successful extension of LEED-quality construction to Brazil.
In Mexico, Prologis continues to build out its Tres Rios park near Mexico City, adding 574,814 square feet (53,400 square meters). Prologis Park Tres Rios 9 achieved LEED certification in March, making it the third LEED-certified facility in Prologis Mexico’s platform.
In Texas, Prologis has recently completed two new facilities at its master planned Prologis Park Northpark, located along Interstate 45 near Houston. The two facilities totaling 282,360 square feet (26,000 square meters) achieved LEED-NC Gold certification. And in New Jersey, Prologis completed Building 2 in Prologis Park Secaucus, a 243,750 square foot (22,600 square meter) facility, also certified LEED Gold.
“These recent certifications further demonstrate our corporate commitment to develop to sustainable standards,” noted Gene Reilly, CEO of Prologis Americas. This brings Prologis’ total of LEED-certified space in the Americas to 15.5 million square feet (1.4 million square meters).
