Prologis Issues 2013 CR Report

Prologis’ 2013 Corporate Responsibility Report documents the company’s advancements related to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and ethics and corporate governance. Key outcomes in 2013 were as follows:

  • Energy savings could power nearly 120 million square feet (11.1 million square meters) of its global portfolio, the equivalent of 59,000 homes
  • The company gained certification of 20 projects totaling 5.7 million square feet (530,000 square meters) of sustainable properties in seven countries
  • Prologis installed 10.3 megawatts of rooftop solar projects on eight buildings in Japan, bringing Prologis’ global solar project experience to more than 100 megawatts in six countries
  • The company’s first global day of service, IMPACT Day, was held on May 17, 2013, during which Prologis colleagues contributed more than 7,000 hours of service supporting the causes of education, human welfare and the environment
  • Prologis was named among the Global 100 most sustainable corporations in the world at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, for the fifth year running
Prologis Issues 2013 CR Report

The report was developed using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework and has been externally assured by DNV Certification. It also received GRI’s “Materiality Matters” check, another first for a U.S.-based real estate company. The check indicates that the GRI G4 disclosures on materiality were correctly located in both the Content Index and text of the final report.
