Prologis Earns WorldatWork Work-Life 2016 Seal of Distinction

WorldatWork Work-Life 2016 Seal of Distinction

WorldatWork honored Prologis with its Work-Life 2016 Seal of Distinction, which recognizes organizations demonstrating leadership in strategies to help employees with work-life balance. Only 116 employers in North America earned this honor for creating a culture that supports employees at both work and home.

The Seal of Distinction is based on an organization’s overall strength and success in creating positive workplace environments. WorldatWork, a nonprofit HR association and compensation authority, evaluates programs, policies and practices in such areas as caring for dependents, health and wellness, flexibility, financial support and education, community involvement, and paid and unpaid time off, among others.

“We congratulate our 2016 recipients who represent a wide variety of industries, demonstrating that enhancing employee engagement and work-life effectiveness is a business imperative for organizations of all sizes and strengths,” said Anne Ruddy, president and CEO of WorldatWork. “These organizations are the pinnacle of excellence in workplace strategies that enhance employees’ lives.”

WorldatWork defines employers that earn the Work-Life Seal of Distinction as forward-thinking organizations, which look beyond cultural, demographic and institutional boundaries to continually create new ways to enrich the lives of employees while achieving business goals.

“We are excited to receive this honor, and it only scratches the surface of the unique aspects of our culture and why Prologis is a great place to build a career. Teamwork, courage and impact matter here,” said Diana Scott, Prologis chief human resources officer. “Every day, we work together to turn focused strategy into market-leading performance—collaborating from top to bottom, across multiple geographies to make the best decisions for our customers and the business.”
