E-Commerce Grows in Brazil

Prologis Park Cajamar II

A successful joint venture with Cyrela Commercial Properties, Prologis CCP began developing its Cajamar II Industrial Park even as its first development, the 1.9 million square foot (111,000 square meter) Cajamar I, was leased up before all seven buildings were completed. With such strong demand in the São Paulo market, the new park will provide an additional 2.9 million square feet (269,400 square meters) of logistics space at full build-out.

Walmart.com Brazil will occupy the newest building at the park (top left). AGV Logistica, a domestic third-party logistics provider, already occupies the first facility built there. Three more buildings are planned for Cajamar II, which is adjacent to the Anhanguera Highway, allowing immediate access to the Rodoanel (Ring Road) and central São Paulo. Completion of the new facility is expected before the end of 2013.
