This 234,520 SF (21,788 SQM) warehouse in Guadalajara located in El Salto industrial corridor, it is just eight kilometers from Guadalajara International Airport and 20 km from the highway to Central Mexico. The roof and hardscape (including roads, sidewalks, courtyards and parking lots) were designed to reduce heat islands and minimize the property’s impact on microclimates and human and wildlife habitats. During the construction process, recycled content mitigated reliance on virgin materials. Regional building material supported the use of indigenous resources and reduced environmental impacts from transportation. Low emitting materials used in indoor spaces lessened indoor air contaminants that are odorous, irritating and/or harmful to the comfort and well-being of installers and occupants. This sustainably designed warehouse achieved LEED certification in 2015.
