This 187,195 SF (17,391 SQM) warehouse, designed to be sustainable, earned LEED certification in 2015. Building materials with recycled content reduced impacts resulting from extraction and processing of virgin materials. At least 75 percent of construction waste was recycled or repurposed to avoid landfill use. Additional outdoor air ventilation and low-emitting materials improve indoor air quality, while increasing occupants’ comfort, well-being and productivity. The rooftop is coated to reduce the heat island effect. The landscaping is drought-tolerant to lessen water usage.
