Prologis has demonstrated a commitment to sustainability by developing a LEED Volume Program to certify all new core and shell projects in the Americas. The commitment is illustrated in this 485,915 SF (45,143 SQM) sustainable warehouse located in São Paulo, Brazil, which earned LEED Gold certification. Skylights that cross the building’s width to provide daylight throughout the entire warehouse give occupants a stronger connection with the outside environment. Passive natural ventilation, supplemented by mechanical fans, ensures adequate ventilation regardless of wind direction. To protect environmental water quality, all wastewater from the project is treated onsite and reused for irrigation.
