The automaker is using the build-to-suit for parts distribution and as a training center for its mechanics. Features of the industrial warehouse include a 36-foot clear height and a 500-foot depth, a truck court measuring 130 feet by 185 feet, a 60-foot staging bay, parking for 176 cars and storage stalls for 40 trailers. Should the need arise, the site can expand by as much as 500,000 square feet (46,450 square meters).
This build-to-suit in Coppell, Texas, is advantageously situated at the intersection of State Highway 121 and Freeport Parkway in a new 1.4 million square foot master-planned park on 110 acres. Newly constructed Freeport Parkway, which runs through the industrial park with a direct connection to State Highway 12, allows for easier access in and out. The build-to-suit is just five miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, 25 miles from downtown Dallas and 30 miles from downtown Fort Worth.
