Prologis delivered a state-of-the-art 30,355 square meter build-to-suit facility at Prologis Park Prague-Jirny for HP Tronic, a leading consumer electronics retailer in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The building meets stringent storage requirements for a wide inventory of technology: home appliances, consumer electronics, computers and mobile phones.
“HP Tronic’s business requires custom solutions that Prologis, with its professional consultancy abilities, was able to provide. This build-to-suit facility reflects increasing demand for tailor-made logistics space in Central Europe, and it offers premium distribution access to the region’s growing markets,” said Martin Balaz, director, development and leasing, Prologis Czech Republic.
This build-to-suit enhances the customer’s operations with a built-in mezzanine, 12-meter clear height and increased floor load-bearing capacity to accommodate special racking systems. Other customizations include air ventilation, lighting and heating improvements, as well as modifications related to fire safety. The offices and common areas were also designed specifically for HP Tronic.
Prologis Park Prague-Jirny comprises seven buildings totaling more than 330,000 square meters of distribution space. With the delivery of this facility, the park is now fully developed. It is located 8 kilometers east of the Prague city border with direct access to the D11 motorway, which enables efficient distribution to local markets and neighboring countries.
