Aki Tanizumi is a Managing Director responsible for Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Administration and IT. Since joining Prologis in 2003, Aki has played a key role in aligning processes, systems and talent management, as well as conveying Prologis’ story to Japan-based media and investors, as well as employees.
Prior to joining Prologis, Aki served as Director of JIMS Inc., responsible for the business development and implementation of Japanese investments overseas. During Aki’s tenure at JIMS, she served as the Investment Advisor at the Investment Desk in the Italian Trade Commission in Tokyo, as well as an Economist at the International Division of Fujita Corporation.
Aki holds a Master’s in Development Economics & International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Keele University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the International Christian University in Tokyo.
