Prologis has systems in place to proactively manage risk as a corporation. These include a Global Compliance Department and a program to ensure we meet all requirements of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
The FCPA forbids bribery of foreign officials and the concealment of such bribery in a company's accounting records. All Prologis associates strictly adhere to the requirements of the FCPA. Employees in international locations receive periodic and specific training on FCPA requirements and compliance. In addition, Prologis' vendors and contractors are bound by contractual specifications to abide by the regulations of FCPA internationally.
To ensure FCPA compliance, ProLogis developed an FCPA policy, training program, and sample FCPA contract language to be included in contracts with non-U.S. entities. All associates have access to Prologis' FCPA policy and are required to alert Prologis' Legal Department if they have reason to know of any possible violations.
