Building to suit The Home Depot

Keeping up with the growth in its e-commerce business, The Home Depot has shifted its development focus from new stores to fulfillment centers such as this one. The project is being constructed at Prologis Park I-75 South in McDonough, Georgia, just south of Atlanta, and is expected to be complete in June 2013. "As the online business continues to grow, we're doing everything we can to support them," said Michael LaFerle, Home Depot's vice president of real estate and construction. This will be the fifth distribution center Prologis has built for the retail giant.
