Global Headquarters

Committed to “walking the talk” in sustainable development, ProLogis opened its new global headquarters in Denver, Colorado USA in February 2006. Having achieved LEED® certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, the five-story, 89,000-square-foot facility accommodating 325 employees has been nationally recognized for its extensive use of environmental design features:

  • A site plan that reduces storm water runoff, building heat absorption and overall ecological impact
  • Extensive use of local and regional construction materials
  • Extensive recycling of construction waste
  • Energy-efficient lighting control systems including natural light harvesting
  • High-performance glass that reduces energy consumption while allowing for a high degree of light transmittance
  • Water-efficient landscaping and irrigation systems using non-potable municipal water
  • On-site showers and locker facilities that promote biking to work
  • Charging stations for electric vehicles
  • Construction means and methods that enhance indoor air quality for employees.

"ProLogis is a company that is walking the talk. LEED certification is a high standard that will deliver what is promised: an environmentally friendly, safe and healthy environment for ProLogis employees, as well as for the community at large."
