In 2007, ProLogis is the first real estate company to join the Chicago Climate Exchange, a voluntary program for measuring and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. As an Associate Member, ProLogis annually calculates and offset 100% of its carbon footprint from office operations and business travel globally.
In 2009, the operational carbon footprint equaled 13,519 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
